Welcome on the website of Hotel Meerzigt! An excellent location in the Fryslân region for a relaxed staying and meeting in the rural village of Eastermar, centrally located within the triangle Groningen-Leeuwarden-Drachten. The hotel changed hands in the end of 2006 and since then we have been busy restoring and renovating of the building in which we try as much as possible to bring back the historical elements of the inn as it was built in 1860.

Relaxed Staying

Hotel Meerzigt *** is beautifully located on the lakeside, just outside the centre of Eastermar. The hotel has its own parking and is an excellent starting point for your hiking and biking tours and a good location to kick off for a day of sailing, rowing or canoeing on the lake.
